Soniccouture Haunted Spaces v1.2.0 [KONTAKT]

Soniccouture Haunted Spaces
FANTASTiC | 18 November 2019 | 5.49 GB
The idea that certain places take on the weight of past events is familiar to all of us.

Renowned field recordist Chris Watson has spent years collecting audio recordings from such places in one of his most personal projects.

Ancient Temples, Ice Lagoons, Cold War Bases, Abandoned Silver Mines, Power Stations, Cathedrals, Canyons, Underwater Tunnels, Deserted Art Galleries and Maori Burial Caves all feature in this unique collection of recordings.

THE KONTAKT INSTRUMENT

MAIN PANEL

  • XY CONTROL CUBE
  • 4 WAVEFORM ELEMENTS
  • PITCH, ENVELOPE, FILTER, LFO CONTROLS

The heart of Haunted Spaces is the Cube control - a 4-point vector controller that allows you to create complex movements between 4 different waveforms of your choosing. The cube can be fully animated and the movements tempo-synced to your DAW. Each of the 4 waveforms can have independent filter, envelope, pitch and LFO settings.

PRESET LIBRARY TOUR

Haunted Spaces features a huge library of over 400 presets, created by a team of incredible sound designers.

The core sample library contains 128 original Chris Watson field recordings, combined with hundreds of custom synth, acoustic and percussion waveforms to blend with the ambiences. Notable sample sets include special versions of Soniccouture's Novachord, Array Mbira, Bowed Piano, ebow Guitar and many more.

This video showcases a small selection of the preset sounds.

RECORDING LOCATIONS

Chris Watson has collected Haunted Spaces recordings from all over the world. Many locations are visually as well as sonically spectacular, as seen in this collection of photographs.

THE CONTROL CUBE

VECTOR / XY CONTROLLER

  • Haunted Spaces is based around a 4 point vector, or 'XY' controller.
  • This allows you to fade between 4 different waveforms, each with their own synthesis setup.
  • The Cube can be fully automated, all movements are recordable and sync to the DAW tempo.

    • Yeah! I have it & if things don't change i'm going to do it but i am a little bit reluctant... I have a lot of libraries, lot of work.. I've read a lot of posts regarding auditor release, swap Dll's, add library.exe etc etc....If i have to add 200 libraries one by one....instead of doing music ... Right now i'm running last R2R release, this guys knows how to do it well (imho the best Team nowadays) but as I said before & not only talking about K app... I'm afraid of scene dilemas. Blackouts of escencial releases...I smell something weird & and we all know how this works. Sometimes the givers are compeled by the original developers to stop doing it.... " We don't need to do this anymore...." and the cycle of 1.0 version of John Doe plug ins starts again & again. 10 years quietly looking this audio scene that i love. This site is really a good one & i'm happy to be here since the very beginning... now we need a good & reliable team that feed us properly & quietly (again) lol. PS: Last Keyscape release was a pain in the A... finally they managed to patch it quite well...

By the way: you think that nobody out there have the skills to give us a proper WaveLab Pro 9.5.15 ??? I don't think so....So i wish the scene come back to the days that the teams have guts to defy the poweful ones. That was really exiting, not only to run the app...Also I think talking about this topics is better than Win vs Mac boring chats & i still have the Arturia's Air keyG just for fun!! smile
